This persona was created during early ideation before MVP scope was defined. Sarah's goals and scenario reference features beyond MVP scope (reminders, insurance integration, document uploads, vaccination tracking). The persona remains valuable for understanding user motivation, but see the MVP Requirements for what is included in the first release.
Sarah has 2 pets, she purchased both animal as babies from responsible breeders:
Buddy - Dog - 6 years old

Background¶
Sarah loves her pets but struggles to keep their information organised. Sarah works full time and has a busy social life.
Vet records are buried in email threads, vaccination papers are tucked away in a drawer, and insurance details are on a provider’s confusing website.
She once missed Luna’s booster shots, which left her feeling guilty and anxious. Now, she wants a single, reliable hub where everything is stored, synced, and easy to manage - like a "digital passport" for her pets.
Sarah is tech savvy and needs an online solution for her pet management.
User goal¶
- Keep all pet information in one central place (medical records, insurance policies, preferences).
- Get timely reminders for vaccinations, appointments, policy renewals, and medication schedules.
- Integrate pet insurance accounts for easy claims and policy management.
- Share important records quickly with vets, pet sitters, or emergency clinics.
- Feel confident that nothing important is forgotten, even with a busy schedule.
Scenario¶
- Sarah downloads PetFolio after a stressful vet visit where she couldn’t find her pets vaccination records.
- She signs up and creates an account
- She creates profiles for both pets, and updates their details (breed, age, microchip info, allergies, medical history)
- She uploads scanned vet documents and insurance details
- She sets reminders for Buddy’s arthritis medication and Luna’s annual vaccinations
